My title is very straight forward so let me give you some detail. I went to a fishing village called Aberdeen. When I was there, I went to a floating dim sum restaurant. It was called Jumbo. It was beautiful. All the details, architecture and paint. The paint was all different bright colours. There were different shades of colours; all different shades of yellow, reds and a lot  of gold(only one shade). The dim sum melted in your mouth. It was delicious. When you were sitting down in the restaurant, the waves would make the whole restaurant move with them. That explains the dim sum aspect of the title.

Now I will explain the fish and wet dog aspect of the title together. We went to another fishing village the next day called Sai Kung. It was very different. There were many restaurants, boats and dogs at this one. The boats were full of fish. The way the fishermen would sell the fish is they would have their boat set up under the bridge. When somebody wanted to buy a fish they would go on the bridge and yell to the fisherman witch fish they wanted. Then the fisherman would grab his net with a long rod at the end and put the fish in it, and the customer would grab it. The customer would then put the money in the net and the fisherman would take it. When we were walking down the sidewalk, we saw some dogs. These weren’t any dogs they were colourful, dressed up dogs. Somebody thought it was okay to paint their dog and then paint their other dog. Another person thought it was okay to dress up there dog in a tutu, a shirt and a diaper. Then one other person thought it was okay to take there dog in the water and let it run around. Fish and wet dog as separate smells smell rancid. Imagine them together. It was disgusting. That is all to say about that.

For the sweat and heat part I will be taking those two together. Bangkok is sticky, hot and half a third world city and the other half is skyscrapers. The third world part is the tuk tuks and the small shack restaurants that are so good. If you ever think of coming to Thailand, I suggest you come to Bangkok and take a tuk tuk, and find some really good seafood restaurant that isn’t in a plaza or a skyscraper. The tuk tuks are really fun. If you are afraid, try it once and if you  don’t like it, send me a comment. If you do come to Bangkok, bring light clothes and a sprits bottle so you can cool yourself off.

By the way, my birthday is on Saturday! I can’t wait. I will be in Phuket on a beach.
